Warm Hearth Village proudly recognizes Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who recently completed various steps in the Career Ladder established by Warm Hearth Village in 2005.  Malinda Ervin, Jessica Linkous, Teresa Breeding, Amanda Davis and Marlene Young received certification as Therapeutic Aide.  Bridget Perfater, Cindy Epperly, Amber Bailey, Angela Perkins and Vera Pardasie received Mentor certification, all working their way toward CNA Specialist status.

The Warm Hearth Career Ladder was implemented in January 2005 as a way to encourage professional growth and retention among CNAs in the organization.  All CNAs must have certification in good standing with the Virginia Board of Health Professionals to move along the ladder that consists of levels that include: 1.) Certified Medication Technician or Therapeutic Aid, 2.) Mentor, and 3.) CNA Specialist.

To date nine Certified Nursing Assistants have completed the certification and 19 are working toward certification at various levels.

Warm Hearth Village is a non-profit senior living community offering a continuum of care ranging from independent living to long-term nursing care.
