Hayrides to the Pumpkin Patch, mountain music and pony rides are just a few of the many activities in which you will find at the 14th Annual Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival, which starts today.
Every Saturday and Sunday from this weekend, all the way through the final weekend of Oct. 27-28, festival goers will find a vast array of activities for the young and the young at heart on Saturday’s from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday’s from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Family fun will include hayrides to the patch, barnyard animals, a kid’s corn maze, music, arts/crafts, and face painting are just a few of the many things you will want to check out. As for food, there will be plenty, including kettle corn, ice cream, barbecue, homemade bake goods and hotdogs. For those looking to buy and decorate not only for Halloween, but for the Fall season as well, you will find plenty of pumpkins, gourds, straw bales, Indian corn, squash and corn stocks. They are also booking for special events, meetings, birthday parties, weddings and company picnics. For more information on these special activities you can call (540) 382-4640.
