			<description>Once again the Center for Digital Government has named the City of Roanoke as a Leading Digital City. Roanoke ranked second in the nation for 2007 among the cities in the 75,000 to 124,999 population category.  Santa Monica, Calif., was awarded first place in the category.  Other top award winners for their population size are Aurora, Colo.; Lincoln, Neb.; Juniper, Fla.; and Lynchburg, Va. Roanoke was ranked first in the survey in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2006. </description>
